GDC 2023

Last week I went to the GDC as a Conference Associate (CA) for the second year in a row. It was once again a wonderful, overwhelming, and exhausting experience, from which I learned a ton of new things.

Because of my job as a CA, I spent 25 hours of the convention working, but it also gave me the amazing opportunity to network with my fellow CAs. Because of what I learned last year in addition to spending the week before GDC researching networking tips, I was able to make far more connections. These connections include a group that I plan on participating in game jams with over the summer.

While during the convention I was unable to go to more than a few talks, I now have access to the GDC Vault which I plan on using to learn as much as I can.
