Techno Towers
Over the past two weeks, I created a tool for recording run history, as well as the map for level 3 and finishing level 2 alongside a few other miscellaneous fixes.
Run History Recorder
I created this in order to be able to get useful information from playtesters and because it could be a cool feature to add into the finished game should the artist have time to create proper UI icons for it. I wanted it to record how the players lost and what items they possessed when they died so that I could tune waves and equipment to make the game less difficult.

Level 3
When making level 3 I wanted to add another mechanic relating to tower placement and add a level of risk-reward to the game. In order to achieve this, I created the health pad that would heal the player when a tower was placed on it and would also spawn enemies very close to the base. This makes it so that the player can sacrifice towers temporarily to gain healing, however, if they don't use enough towers they will take far more damage than the heal. I also wanted this level to utilize the zooming out mechanic further by making some past end before max zoom as well as revealing new paths late in the level.
