Syrup

This week was spent creating the save system for Syrup so that the player could quit the game without losing progress. This will also streamline the playtesting and balancing of the game as tests no longer need to be continuous and can start part-way through the game.


The saves will store all of the dynamic tyle locations and classes, the amount stored in every resource sink, the links between sinks and faucets, plant health, trash links to their spawners, and the player's location.
