Week of Management

Voidsinger

This week the Voidsinger team doubled in size gaining 6 new members. It was super exciting to gain new members, especially artists as we had none before. This meant that I had to focus on informing the new members of the state of the game and to revise my managerial strategy now that I had significantly more people to manage. I also spent some time preparing milestones, deadlines, and a roadmap for Voidsinger.

New Managerial Strategy

Because of the huge influx of new members, I had to start using managerial software to keep track of everyone and facilitate communication between my new art lead, her team, and the rest of the team. I chose to use Github Projects as it was similar to Trello, which many of my new team members had used before, but it also had integrations with source control and allowed for automation.
