Techno Towers
This week began the rush to finish Techno Towers before the start of the school year. Over the course of the week, I redesigned and finished level 4, reworked and made art for enemy health bars, began polishing and making art for as many relics as I can.
Level 4
I reduce the number of paths since some of the paths were never used due to time constraints. I also readjusted the health pad in order to make it play nice with the zooming-out mechanic. I was also unhappy with the waves and redid them.

Reworked Health Bars
I wanted to make the system for displaying damage more elegant so I removed the damage number entirely and added incremented health bars and a damage in progress system that would display the amount of damage the enemies have recently taken on their health bar. I also incorporated damage resistance indicators into this health bar as well. This was to help reduce clutter and streamline the game. I also created all of the art for the new health bars.

Relic Polish
For gambit, I added incrementally cracked health bars that would sync with the increase in damage taken caused by the relic

For swift, I created a particle effect that would create motion lines behind the player when they are being affected by swift.

For Sacrifice, I drew a relic icon that could also function as a progress bar for gaining new towers via the relic.


And for Revenge I made affected projectiles glow red.
