Elemental Engagements

This week for Elemental Engagement, I finished up the HUD by adding the ability selector, human favor bar, and contextual controls helper. For this, I created the sword and wood assets and found a free key icon pack. I also had to refactor the input system to allow for different control contexts which now can be configured in the editor. The controls text will dynamically change based on input device and will update if controls are rebounded or added.

I also did a ton of small things for Elemental Engagements including the mountain range, rally point, and unit upgrade abilities, a movement handling refactor, and bug fixing.


The Ceros Project

I was able to work on my side project as well. For it, I improved various visual elements like the HUD, colonist build rays, and lighting. I also spent some balancing the game, though it will need a good bit more balancing before it can be play-tested.
