Micro Star Command's Realse & Pitches
Micro Star Command
The game is now available for sale on both teams and itch!🎉 It has been a ton of work and I'm proud of the result, though I'm also very happy to be done with the game. I'm super excited for my next project which will be on a team larger than any I've worked on before.
Over the last two weeks I have run several playtests for the game and have made a huge number of balance changes. Some of these changes include adjusting how production scales for both the player and enemies and making the formations more unique by making more of them affect probe health, damage & cost.
I've also made many UI improvements such as an improved info screen, a new forfeit button, improved faction details selection, and more. Additionally, I've improved the tutorial and made it more resilient to players messing up.
Misc Side Projects
This week my capstone class started. As such everyone needed to pitch a game idea, myself included. My idea was Shield Tech where you would play as an engineer on a spaceship running around hecticaly fixing and tuning systems. For this idea I created a one-sheet in illustrator and wrote a script for my pitch. Unfortunately, my pitch didn't make it through the first round of eliminations, but I have been specifically recruited to one of the games that made it through the whole pitching process.
