Bugs, a Playtest and a Side Project

Immunity Wars

I've spent a large part of the last week working on a vary of bug fixes, from UI clipping issues to missing AIs. I also made several major UX improvements like adding the option to automatically skip turns when no action is available, adding UI scaling options, and the option to always show health bars. I also spent good time working on an editor plugin to help with recording ability demonstration videos for previews. Lastly, I spent some time running the first full playtest of the Bacteria Campaign which you can see below.

Misc. Side Projects

About a week ago I ran into a silly little YouTube playable game called states.io and got stuck playing it for far too long, and I thought to myself, "Hey this is addicting but the progression is really unsatisfying and uninteresting, I could make it better" and so I did. I coded up a version of the game in UE5 and made it into a bit of a rogue-like. Much of the meta progression like relics, abilities, and shops are set up code-wise but haven't been put into the game yet. I'll probably be working on this for the next week or two in my free time.
