Immunity Wars
This week, the team I had worked on Elemental Engagements with started a new production cycle to build an alternate/serious game by May. This week was focused on creating and pitching our game ideas to the team.
My game idea was Immunity Wars, a turn-based tactics game aimed at teaching players about the complex chains of interactions your body uses to fend off invasions with an art style heavily inspired by Kurzgesagt videos. To help with my pitch, I created a paper prototype for my game. It helped me iron out the details of the game and forced me to make sure the mechanics were simple and easy to convey and implement.
The team decided to move forward with my idea, and we will be developing the game in Godot.
The Ceros Project
This week I made some visual improvements to the building construction animations & made some more minor balance improvements.
